The Journal of the American College of Nutrition published that regular consumption of shiitake mushroom improves human immunity. The study involved 52 healthy adults aged 21 to 41 years and consumed 5 or 10g mushrooms daily. The researchers found that immune related cells such as natural killer T-cells, IL-4, IL-10, TNF-α increased after 4 weeks of consumption of shiitake mushrooms. The shiitake mushrooms promote proliferation of these cells and improve immunity in human. How would you increase the consumption of shiitake mushroom?
