The FDA is recommending changes to the warning and directions sections of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) labels .  The changes include  removal of the warning regarding safety concerns associated with concomitant use of NRTs with another nicotine-containing products/or current smoking, as well as changes to directions for use allowing for patient flexibility.  How often do you counsel patients about nicotine replacement therapies?

Please see the FDA for the proposed changes.
