In a cross-over placebo controlled study, including 40 healthy middle aged to elderly subjects, 3 g of fish oil n-3 PUFA daily was consumed during 5 week trial. The results have shown better performance in the Working Memory test compared with placebo (p < 0.05). Additionally, n-3 PUFA lowered plasma triacylglycerides (P < 0.05) and systolic blood pressure (p < 0.0001). What otherherbs/supplements do you currently recommend to improve cognitive performance?
