The Food and Drug Administration confirmed that it has received 13 reports of death over the last 4 years possibly associated with the 5-Hour Energy drink. Since 2009, the drink has been mentioned in 90 reports filed to the FDA. Reports associated with other energy drinks have also been filed. According to Consumer Reports, each 2-ounce bottle of 5-Hour Energy contains 215mg of caffeine, while an eight-ounce cup of coffee contains about 100 to 150 milligrams of caffeine. How often do you consume energy drinks? Will the increase in these serious reports decrease your use?
