A new device manufactured by Proteus Digital Health Inc, and approved by the FDA may improve patient adherence to medications. A tiny ingestible chip will be implanted into medications which will send signals to a patch that is applied to the patient’s stomach. This sensor will remind patients to take their medications as well as track extended times of inactivity.  Do you think your patients would be willing to try this new technology?
