Doctors are prescribing these medications for unlabeled indications including disruptive behaviors, ADHD and other. The FDA has been insisting to monitor weight gain and other metabolic diseases in children. Part of the reason isprevious research linking antipsychotics and increased risk of  developing diabetes.
